I am often asked by prospective clients of American Pavilion how to determine the best tent rental company for their event. Tent rentals (tents, portable air-conditioning, flooring, etc.) is a multi-billion dollar industry and there is no shortage of companies vying for your business. Some of the same questions that you would ask for any major purchase can be asked when choosing an tent rental company.
1. How long have they been in business?
2. Are they large enough to stock the clear span tents,fabric structures that you need?
3. Are they so large that your event may not be a priority for their company?
4. Are you dealing with the owner or a salesperson?
5. What experience do they have handling events similar to yours?
With a little homework and common sense you can determine pretty quickly which rental companies are up to the task and which ones will not be around after they collect your deposit check.
